I am so blessed to serve on this board. Kelly was my sister and best friend. This organization is a way to keep her memory alive and honor her dedication. In 10 years, the growth of Heart of a Champion has been amazing. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Kelly would be so humbled.

Losing my mom (Kelly) at such a young age was incredibly difficult, but being able to give back to the community that we love so dearly has been such a blessing to me. With every year that passes, I can proudly say that I know she would be proud of the work we are doing in her memory.

HE commands us to have a servant’s heart to help others (2 Cor. 8:9)! What better way to serve HIM than serving and supporting our students, teachers, schools, and communities than with a team that uses their God given talents and gifts to support others!

"I serve to honor the memory of Kelly Clayton Amerson, whose life glorified God in many ways. By meeting the physical needs of the community, we are able to project her heart for others, and through that, her legacy thrives."

Karla Tranum
Because I have heart strings tied to Kelly and the Clayton family, I serve on the Heart of a Champion board. This is one of the most humbling and honorable roles that I play.
